Sunset
by Jess Guim
A milfish pays
No attention to the sun
Surfacing the bank.
After a swim. Soon,
His date will come -
The moon.
A cricket
In a tree-hole peeps,
And see if she can sing
Now with the wind.
She finds a cloud dressing
The sun.
A mosquito
By the rice paddy
Was taken by surprise
At frog’s furious tounge.
Palay plant seems
Innocent of the crime.
